The 6th General Assembly for NEAN in Ithaca is THIS WEEK! We’re mobilizing our resources and getting things together for the weekend and we’re very very excited to host a bunch of radicals in our small liberal city.

SESSION #1: Talking about the War: One-on-One

SPC's Iraq Organizing Committee will facilitate a series of 6 skill shares every other Wednesday beginning on January 30. Informal and interactive, we encourage
anyone who wants to build their organizing skills to participate. Some will focus specifically on antiwar work, many of the skills can be used in any social justice organizing work. Come to all 6 or pick and choose. We welcome people to participate...both to share tips and experiences and to learn from others.

Street Medic Training

Syracuse Basic Street Medic Training, Feb 8-10, 2008

What is a Street Medic? Someone who volunteers to do first aid at a protest, rally, gathering, conference or where ever else your skills come in handy. Medic for your group or just to be a protester out there with the
knowledge.

What is the training like? It's a 19 hour training.
Starting in the evening on Friday for three hours, 6-9pm. and 10-7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Priority will be given to those who can commit to being there all three days.

NEAN Second New England Sub-Regional Assembly

The 207 Collective would like to welcome all interested anarchists, activists and friends to the second New England sub-regional Assembly of the NorthEast Anarchist Network.

The assembly will be held during the weekend of the 12-13th of January in Portland, Maine. Both Saturday and Sundays' events will be held at the Meg Perry Center located at 644 Congress St., in Portland, Maine. The meetings will be from 10AM to 6PM Saturday and 10:30AM to 5PM on Sunday.
