As funds come in we will do our best to meet the needs of those who request assistance to get to and from Rochester for the Assembly.

Ride Shares

If you can offer a ride, or if you would like to ride with someone else from your area, please let us know. The anetwork@lists.riseup.net listserv can be used to post ride requests/offers, but we can also try to match you up with a ride or passenger who has RSVPed.

NEAN Wintero 2010/11 Assembly Agenda

Friday, February 11 – Sunday, February 13
at The Flying Squirrel Community Space (www.thesquirrel.org)

The weekend's events will begin Saturday morning. We are expecting people to start arriving Friday evening/night at the Flying Squirrel, but please let us know if you will be arriving especially late so that we can make sure someone will be ready to help when you arrive.

For those arriving before 10pm Friday night there will be the option of attending the Trans Love Dance Party, on the second floor of the Flying Squirrel. The event will be free and fun, but is being organized by another group so we expect all to be respectful if attending. For more info, check http://thesquirrel.org/node/491.

3:15 60 min Nor'easter: Update, Feedback, Support/Participation

4:15 90 min Workshop session

5:45 60 min Flex time: Ad-hoc workshops, discussions, networking, strategizing, etc.

6:45 End day/hang out

11th Regional Assembly: Winter 2011 in Rochester

The next NEAN assembly will be held in Rochester, NY, from Friday February 11 to Sunday February 13.

We are excited to welcome NEAN to Rochester for a weekend full of discussions, networking and fun, and to give you all an opportunity to see some of what's going on in our city! The assembly will be hosted at the Flying Squirrel Community Space (www.thesquirrel.org), and we are asking for a sliding scale contribution of $10-20 from attendees. The assembly is open to any and all anarchists in the Northeast, as well as other radicals and anti-authoritarians who agree with the NEAN points of unity.
